Rules for contests, content, & fair play.

These terms explain how to use PetLeague, what content is allowed, how contests and subscriptions work, and the situations in which we may moderate or remove content.

1. Agreement

By using PetLeague, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use PetLeague.

PetLeague is a pet photo contest, voting, community, and entertainment app. It is not a gambling service, sweepstakes platform, or cash-prize competition. No cash prizes or gambling are offered through PetLeague.

2. Eligibility and account responsibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create or use an account.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
You must provide accurate account information and may not impersonate another person or brand.
You may not create accounts to bypass blocks, bans, vote limits, moderation, or subscription limits.

3. User content

You keep ownership of pet photos, profile text, contest entries, comments, reports, and other content you submit.

You grant PetLeague a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, resize, moderate, and distribute your content inside PetLeague and related product surfaces, including public web previews and share cards. This license exists so the app can operate.

You represent that you have the rights needed to upload the content and that it does not violate another person's privacy, publicity, copyright, trademark, or other rights.

4. Community and fair play

No harassment, threats, hate speech, explicit content, bullying, or targeted abuse.
No animal cruelty, illegal activity, dangerous activity, or graphic content.
No spam, scams, phishing, malware, scraping, reverse engineering, or attempts to disrupt the service.
No bots, scripts, vote buying, fake engagement, multi-account manipulation, or coordinated ranking abuse.
No attempts to bypass age gates, report systems, premium restrictions, ad reward checks, or daily vote limits.

5. Contests, votes, and rankings

Contests, battles, achievements, and rankings are entertainment features. Vote limits, entry rules, premium contests, ranking windows, and reward mechanics may change as the product evolves.

PetLeague may correct, recalculate, hide, or remove contest entries, votes, leaderboard points, achievements, or rankings when we detect error, fraud, abuse, technical issues, or policy violations.

Unless a separate written promotion says otherwise, PetLeague contests do not award cash, monetary prizes, or anything with cash-equivalent value.

Rewarded ad bonuses, when available, require both app-side ad completion and backend server-side verification. PetLeague may revoke rewards that cannot be verified.

6. PetLeague+ subscriptions and purchases

PetLeague+ is optional. It may unlock benefits such as unlimited votes, premium leagues, profile badges, and other premium features shown in the app.

Purchases are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play. Billing, renewal, cancellation, refunds, and family sharing are governed by the store account and store terms that apply to your purchase.

Subscriptions may automatically renew unless canceled through your store subscription settings before the renewal deadline set by the platform. PetLeague receives subscription status from the platform through RevenueCat and uses it to grant or remove premium access.

7. Moderation and enforcement

PetLeague may use automated checks, rate limits, reports, blocking tools, and manual review to protect the community.

We may remove content, hide profiles, restrict features, revoke rewards, suspend accounts, terminate accounts, or preserve records when needed to enforce these Terms, comply with law, investigate abuse, or protect users and the service.

You can report content in the app or contact support@petleague.app.

8. Account deletion and termination

You may delete your account from Profile > Privacy. Deletion is intended to remove account data associated with your profile, subject to limited retention needed for security, legal compliance, anti-abuse records, subscription history, and dispute handling.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for PetLeague, users, or service providers.

9. Service availability, disclaimers, and liability

PetLeague is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the app will always be available, error-free, or unchanged.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PetLeague is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or rankings arising from use of the service.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers or liability limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

10. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms as the app changes. Continued use of PetLeague after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
